Alex Moon
Alex Moon (Pronouns: they/she) is a Trans-Nonbinary writer, theatre artist, and translator who’s worked with organizations such as The American Repertory Theatre; Ensemble Studio Theatre; Speakeasy Stage Co; Boston University; The Dyon Collective, Theatre Collaborative, and more.
Their short play ”Bugs” was a winner of the 47th Annual Off-Off Broadway Festival, their full-length play “G-Town',' was a finalist for the 2021 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, and their play “Gorgon” was a finalist for AATHE and The Kennedy Center’s Judith Royner award, as well as an O’Neill semifinalist.
As a translator, their editions of the Homeric Hymns to Dionysus were selected for publication by Persephone: The Harvard Undergraduate Classics Journal.
They are a member of New York University’s class of 2022, doubl- majoring in Dramatic Writing and Classics, having trained as well with Frantic Assembly and One Year Lease’s Apprentice Program in Papingo, Greece.
